Responsible for the reconciliation of non merchandise prepaid products and over the counter (OTC) tenders as identified by the ReconNET reconciliation software. Assist in the daily sales audit process including corrections of store over/short issues. This includes researching and entering adjustments from the Cash Audit and Payment Services teams, making systemic journal entries to adjust weekly sales, daily balancing, and/or reporting. Backup lead contact on explanation of system issues and escalation to Management.
Job Details
- Resolves outstanding sales audit exceptions and guided audit concerns for a group of assigned stores. Ensures that daily exceptions/system rejects are completed accurately to provide for timely sales close each Monday. 10%
- Assist in the reconciliation of non-merchandise activity as it relates to prepaid products and third party gift cards. 60%
- Researches excessive over/short issues, reviews daily exception reports and investigates no-poll issues to create weekly sales entries to the general ledger through the sales audit software. 10%
- Provides direction and answers sales-related questions for store managers, field management and store support center employees. 15%
- As backup lead, run Auditworks (AW) processes such as period end, distributing financial reports (ex: Daily missing sales and EBT reports) as well as ERC emails pertaining to production issues. Assist in the training of new sales auditors and senior analysts. Provide and explain samples that impact AW processes (i.e. new system rejects) 5%

- Excellent problem solving skills to proactively recognize issues and resolve any potential problems
- Outstanding Microsoft spreadsheet skills
