In this role, you will oversee the receiving or shipping functions, assisting in creating a strong work team and helping resolve employee relations issues.
You will participate on the distribution center management team, developing action plans for conducting internal analyses and gap identification. You will also conduct daily status meetings with the management team to review prior day's performance and develop an action plan for the current day.
- Reviews current trends to identify gaps in inbound or outbound functions and makes recommendations.
- Assists in development of budget for inbound or outbound functions.
- Communicates with company carrier regarding store loads and backhauls.
