We are seeking a Department Manager to oversee daily operations at our Distribution Center.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct up to 20 associates across various departments, including Receiving, Order Selection, Shipping, and Equipment.
- Ensure merchandise is properly scheduled, received, unloaded, checked, replenished, selected, labeled, scanned, loaded, shipped, and moved in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum three years of distribution center management or operations experience, or equivalent education.
- Solid knowledge of distribution center practices and procedures.
- Strong leadership, administrative, organizational, managerial, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze information, develop solutions, and implement changes.
- Strong ability to coach and lead supervisors and associates towards professional success.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and WMS System.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
