As an Assistant Retail Director, you will work closely with the Store Manager to:
- Ensure efficient store operations, focusing on the front-end and sales floor.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Oversee the hiring, training, and development of store associates.
- Protect company assets, including store cash.
- Maintain store appearance and organization to meet company standards.
- Process corporate directives and instructions.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to receive and return DSD merchandise.
- Follow established policies and procedures.
- Enhance sales performance through effective merchandising and visual displays.
- Manage cashiering activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Return damaged merchandise promptly.
- Monitor and control store expenses.
- Maximize impulse sales through strategic checkout area merchandising.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Proven retail and management experience.
- The ability to lift, bend, and move merchandise weighing up to 50lbs.
