Complex Litigation Specialist – Real Estate/Commercial
The principal purpose of this position is to provide a wide range of support to attorneys and other business partners engaged in the defense of litigation, arbitration, demand letters and administrative complaints filed against the Company
Primary Responsibilities:
• Review, analyze and summarize claims related to commercial, real estate, ADA access litigation and certain product related tort matters
• Identify potential document custodians and assist in the preparation and dissemination of document hold notices to same, manage and monitor results
• Identify, request, pull, organize and summarize relevant documents and information to assist attorneys in responding to and defending against claims
• Identify key witnesses and assist in scheduling their interviews, meetings and depositions, as appropriate
• Assist in the preparation of responses to discovery
• Assist in the preparation and execution of declarations used to support Company motions
• Act as liaison between in-house attorneys, business partners and outside counsel
• Respond to subpoenas issued to the Company
• Special projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
• 5-7 years relevant experience
• Paralegal Certification Preferred
• Proficient with MS Office Suite
