Job Summary
This role is perfect for individuals who love to shop and want to make a difference in their community. As a key member of our team, you will assist with operational tasks, supervise hourly associates, and contribute to the success of our store.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist with front-end and sales floor operations as delegated by the Store Manager.
- Help hire, train, and develop store associates under the guidance of the Store Manager.
- Support the Store Manager in protecting company assets, including store cash.
- Maintain all areas of the store to company standards, including recovery.
- Direct supervisory responsibility for all hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
Additional Tasks:
- Process SSC Corporate directives, including Pull and Hold/Destroy and Task Compliance.
- Assist the Store Manager with receiving and returning DSD merchandise.
- FOLLOW VIP and DSD Policies and Procedures.
- Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective on a daily basis.
- Manage cashiering activities to follow company cash handling practices and guidelines.
- Maximize impulse sales by maintaining the checkout area through merchandising and supplies management.
Requirements:
- Prior retail and management experience preferred.
- Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50lbs.
