Job Title: Server
Reports To: Food & Beverage Manager
Job Description:
The Server will provide guests with an exceptional dining experience by delivering outstanding service in a friendly and professional manner.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly with a smile and a friendly welcome.

Recommend at least two drink options, two appetizers, daily dinner specials, and two desserts.

Accurately record all transactions.

Maintain a clean, well-groomed appearance, including proper uniform and name badge.

Record orders correctly, confirm selections with guests, and input them into the Micros system.

Refill beverages promptly.

Ensure proper table maintenance; restock and clean sugar caddies, condiments, and table tents.

Adhere to all state, federal, and company regulations regarding the service of food and alcoholic beverages.

Do not smoke, vape, or chew gum while on duty.

Refuse service to intoxicated guests and notify the Manager on Duty immediately.

Request identification from guests who appear underage, and if in doubt, involve the Manager on Duty.

Report any unusual occurrences to the Director or Manager on Duty.

Immediately notify Management of any unsatisfactory food or beverage items to ensure proper resolution.

Follow established service procedures at all times.

Assist with cleanliness, restocking, food running, and bussing tables as needed.

Comply with Dolphin Hotel and River Street Inn policies at all times.

Complete or perform any additional tasks assigned by Restaurant or Hotel Management.

Strong verbal communication, comprehension, listening, and problem-solving skills.

Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required..
Experience:
3 to 5 years of serving experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly be required to:

Sit, stand, bend, walk, use hands and fingers, and lift objects up to 50 lbs.
