The role of the Payroll Coordinator is to compute, classify, and record numerical data to keep financial records complete. This role will perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records.
They will also check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other workers. The Payroll Coordinator supports the Finance Department in accomplishing its mission by excelling in the below duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter pay information, administer payroll, and oversee time-clocking software.
- Fix all issues regarding pay, PTO, and hours.
- Report on company transactions.
Payroll Compliance
- Ensure Paylocity Time & Labor is accurate and completed by the payroll cutoff date.
- Maintain accurate records of employee hours, wages, and deductions.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations.
