Retail Dispensary Assistant Manager

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our team at Dome City Retail Cannabis Dispensary in Winooski, VT. In this role, you will support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, driving sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in supervising staff, maintaining inventory, maintaining compliance, and creating a welcoming shopping environment that enhances our guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily store operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Provide excellent guest service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate cash handling procedures and ensure proper pricing of merchandise.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management to meet market demands.
• Train and mentor staff on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement strategies.
• Implement promotional strategies to drive sales and enhance store visibility via social media and loyalty marketing .
• Maintain accurate product menus, product descriptions, and daily compliance reporting to the CCB.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to set sales goals and track performance metrics.

Skills

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent phone etiquette for professional communication with customers and vendors.
• Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate financial transactions.
• Ability to conduct employee orientation sessions and provide ongoing training support.
• Knowledge of market trends to identify opportunities for growth within the retail environment.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships.
• Basic computer skills; experience with Flowhub and Apex Trading preferred.
