We have a 32-channel Soundcraft UI mixer, QSC K.12 powered mains, a truss-mounted DMX stage lighting rig, a Samsung 4K laser projector, as well as several other offerings to create unique A/V experiences (think fog machines and cold sparks). Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot audiovisual equipment including sound systems, projectors, screens, and lighting for various event types.
• Ensure high-quality audio and visual experiences for guests at weddings, corporate gatherings, and other special events.
• Collaborate with event coordinators to understand and execute specific A/V requirements for each event.
• Assess the client’s needs to excel their expectations and enhance the overall event experience.
• Manage audio mixing and lighting control during live events.
• Conduct equipment checks and perform basic maintenance on A/V gear.
• Assist in the transportation, setup, and breakdown of A/V equipment.
• Adapt quickly to different venue layouts and acoustics.
• Maintain a tidy and safe working environment.
• Stay updated on the latest A/V technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an A/V Technician, preferably in an events or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of audio and visual equipment operation and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with digital audio consoles, projectors, and lighting systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-service oriented mindset.
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in live event production.
• Knowledge of event lighting design.
• Familiarity with video switching and recording.
• Certification in A/V technology or related field.
