Experience: Must have strong writing skills, excellent organization skills, project management and recordkeeping. Also, the ability to work quickly and meet critical deadlines.

Schedule Availability: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Occasional extended workdays.
Licences/Certifications : Valid Oklahoma driver’s license.

- Priority 1: Equity and Inclusion

- Priority 2: Grant Writing, and Applications
- Prepares, develops and edits grant applications. Must exhibit strong expository writing skills and a high-level command of grammar and spelling.
- Serves as a liaison to departments and the CEO and Chief Development Officer for developing individual grant proposals in accordance with grantors preferences and guidelines.
- Monitor and maintain Grant Status Reports and Grant Calendar and other evaluation documents to monitor grant progress and accomplishments.
- Develops, gathers, and submits clean program narrative reports when required by a grant-making organization for funded project(s) or program(s).
- Responsible for reviewing funder websites for grant cycle award dates and when report filings are due.
- Responsible for monitoring existing grants, including goal information from program staff, as well as submit renewal or extension applications in coordination with the CFO.
- Prepares and compiles a list and analysis of grant-making organizations to identify likely funding sources for specific projects and programs.
- Responsible for creating the maintenance of archived files of grant research, grant applications (including refusals) and administration and distribution of grants that were approved.
- Coordinates with the Chief Financial Officer and program staff to match program suggestions and goals on newly awarded grants and potential grant opportunities. Convert ideas into workable funding opportunities.
- Prepares, compiles and maintains “program needs” list of current and proposed agency programs that require funding. Research and pursue funding opportunities for these programs keeping in mind to not reallocate funding sources from current programs.
- Coordinate and assist in reviewing the budget of a project or program(s) for which funding is sought. Work with the Chief Financial Officer to make recommendations to better present it to grant-making organizations.
- Prepares drafting letters of support for other agencies, with which DVIS collaborates and drafting letters of support to legislators, judges and others regarding legislation or public policies on behalf of domestic violence victims.
- Develops and implements grant acquisition strategies - both initial application and renewal.
- Responsible for responding quickly to information requests from one grantors and stakeholders while still meeting the deadline of the other applications;
- Maintain positive contact and coordinate with DVIS staff and federal, state, local and private funding sources.
- Monitors and coordinates regular interagency and interdepartmental grant oversight meetings.
- Responsible for working with Chief Financial Officer and Administration to match budget requirements to funding opportunities.
- Priority 3 – Oversee Administration of all grants received by DVIS from federal, state, local and private sources to ensure regulatory compliance by:
- Maintaining contact with grant-making organizations during their review of a submitted grant application and supplying additional supportive material as requested by the supervisor.
- Monitoring existing grants and if applicable, submitting renewal or extension applications.
- Supplying progress reports when required by a grant-making organization for funding a project(s) or program(s).
- Creating and maintaining archive files of grant research, grant applications (including refusals), and administration and distribution of approved grants.
- Maintaining positive contact and coordinating with DVIS departments, DVIS clients, and program partners;
- Maintaining positive contact with federal, state, local, and private funding sources in regard to grant regulations, funding availability, research, and training.
- Assuring that DVIS complies with all grant regulations;
- Conducting interagency and interdepartmental grant oversight committee meetings;
- Preparing grant status reports, grant calendar, and other evaluation documents to monitor grant progress and accomplishments.
- Responsible for software tracking, setting and meeting deadlines, and daily communication with Chief Financial Officer.
- Attending and participating in community collaborations leading to the development of funding and program resources for DVIS.
- Provide training to new and existing staff on grant management and reporting requirements
- Attend all All-Staff meetings and department meetings as required.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Adherence to all federal and state regulations regarding client services, specifically avoiding inappropriate conduct and strictly maintaining client confidentiality.
