Store Manager- Vintage Values at Monkey Junction

Qualifications:

Requires an organized individual sensitive to the issue of domestic violence. Applicants must be able to lead staff and volunteers, while working well under pressure. Other qualifications include understanding of, and agreement with, the philosophy and purposes of Domestic Violence Shelter and Services, Inc., and Vintage Values Resale Shops. We hire based on life experience, work experience, professional training and/or education.

Summary of Duties:

· Overseeing all aspects of personnel management for the store, including hiring, training, and scheduling of new employees and volunteers, as well as conducting performance evaluations.

· Communicating and documenting any performance issues as they arise.

· Ensuring effective daily scheduling to meet both store operations and customer needs.

· Assisting customers, stocking merchandise, and addressing other store-related tasks.

· Maintaining accurate business records, including sales, receipts, donations, and invoices.

· Conducting regular staff meetings to foster communication and teamwork.

· Addressing customer complaints promptly and effectively.

· Contributing to the development of the annual store budget and goals.

· Ensuring that all equipment, security systems, and the physical premises are well-maintained to provide a safe working environment.

Starting salary is $40,008. 40-hour work week, must be flexible and available to work Saturdays. Current benefits include Health, Dental, Life and Disability Insurance, Pension Plan and Paid Leave.
