Entry level Emergency RN is responsible for supporting efforts to improve clinical and service excellence of patient care provided. RN s must be able to identify and apply care skills appropriate to the specific patient age groups served. The RN will participate in the achievement of service targets and process goals.
ALL REGISTERED NURSES will render professional nursing care to patients, support medical care as directed by physicians. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health/Dominican Hospital. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The RN shall support Dignity Health/Dominican Hospital's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications
Entry level position for the RN/ permittee and reentry RN (with more than 5 years absence from acute care work experience) with limited or no experience. New graduate and re-entry RN s are expected to advance to the Staff Nurse II level within 6 months.
Pay Range
$73.13 - $93.48 /hour

- Current and active CA RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- NIH Stroke Certification within 6 months of hire.
- Certified Emergency Nursing certification
- TNCC- Certified as Trauma Nurse Core
Preferred:
MICN required of all nurses who are in a charge capacity Preferred TNCC- Certified as Trauma Nurse Core
