Occupational Therapy Adjunct Faculty
Dominican University New York's Occupational Therapy Program is seeking an adjunct faculty member to join us in teaching the two research-based courses in either our well-established nontraditional weekend format or our new one-weekday-per-week format. This position will work closely with the full-time OT Research Coordinator/teaching faculty member.

This position will work closely with the full-time OT Research Coordinator/teaching faculty member.
Requirements:
- Occupational therapist with initial NBCOT OTR certification
- Minimum of three years of recent clinical experience
- Earned research doctorate (PhD, EdD, DSc, etc. in OT or health-related field); doctoral candidate within one year of dissertation completion, or post-professional OTD with bona fide research project and peer-reviewed publication will be considered
- Knowledge of quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods research design
- Experience presenting in professional forums
- Basic knowledge and experience in the use of Excel and/ or SPSS for quantitative data analytics
- Be available outside of classroom teaching hours to communicate and meet with students and the faculty research project mentors
- Current New York OT license or eligibility
- Knowledge and experience in using Blackboard LMS
- Knowledge and experience in the use of qualitative analysis software
- At least one publication in a peer-reviewed journal within the past 5 years
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred, but not required.
