This position offers potential advancement to Associate Professor for candidates with relevant credentials and experience. 
 

Position Summary: 
Dominican University’s Brennan School of Business is seeking applicants for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Economics for the 2025-2026 academic year, beginning in August 2025. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching to a diverse student body in the area of economics. The preferred candidate will demonstrate a commitment to the university mission as well as to developing and sustaining a portfolio of intellectual contributions in the field of economics. The standard teaching load for this position is 21 credit hours, which corresponds to seven courses during the academic year. 

 

Fully accredited by AACSB-International, the Brennan School of Business enrolls approximately 500 undergraduate business majors, and approximately 120 graduate business students within the Master of Business Administration (MBA), the Master of Science in Accounting (MSA), and the Master of Science in Health Care Management (MSHCM) Programs.
