Machine Tool Field Service Technician

Dominion Air & Machinery, Co. is seeking to hire additional skilled Machine Tool Service Technicians.

Responsibilities:

Specific functions include, but are not limited to:
Performs startup and repair of Manual & CNC Machine Tools
Performing service on existing products in machine shops and manufacturing companies.
Installation of new CNC controls and CNC machine tools.
Performing scheduled maintenance to keep things running like new.
Contacting the customer to schedule service calls.
Completing various reports in an accurate and timely manner.
Qualifications:

Prior field service experience performing installations, preventative maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment
Working knowledge of a variety of CNC control systems and machine types
Excellent communication and problem solving skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to learn technical subjects
Mechanical aptitude
Strong motivation and results-oriented attitude
Experience or education in a mechanical field
Maturity and self-reliance
Good organization skills
Physically fit: able to lift up to 75 lbs, walk long distances, climb on machines, etc
Must have a valid driver’s license with no significant violations.
Compensation:

The base compensation range for this full-time position is $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year plus benefits. The pay range displayed indicates the minimum and maximum target for a new hire salary for this position. Within the range, actual individual compensation is determined by various factors, including location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Monday through Friday work week. Report directly to the worksite (not to office or shop). An occasional overnight stay is a possibility.
