SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The Behavior Analyst acts as the primary clinical leader for a team of staff and a caseload of clients. A full caseload is considered to be approximately 100 approved hours per in-home clinician and approximately 200 approved hours for an EIBI clinician. The number of clients depends on the severity of the case and will be handled on a case-by-case basis. The ability to lead and manage staff, provide clinical oversight and supervision, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times is critical for this position. Behavior Analysts are expected to ensure all staff on their team are billing at their expected requirement. #hotjob
This position also provides mileage reimbursement, Billable expectation of 21 hours/weekly and a CEU stipend
starting at 73,500/year with incentive plan
REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
• Master’s Degree or higher in a Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) approved field
• Licensed Behavior Analyst
• One year of successful supervision/management experience
• Two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavior disorders
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform client assessments using clinically appropriate methods and develop client individualized service plans (ISPs) based on assessments.
• Clinically manage skill acquisition, generalization, maintenance, problem behaviors, and parent training through electronic client records management system
• Provide clinical supervision and training to clinical staff and assistant behavior analysts on your team.
• Provide regular parent training and maintain parent communication to ensure services are effectively impacting families.
• Assist with all intake and discharge planning activities including preparing documents to ensure client insurance authorizations and reauthorizations of services.
• Supervise clinicians in training (CITs) in developing and monitoring ISPs, objectives and methods necessary for providing effective services to clients.
• Coordinate with other service providers working with clients to encourage consistency among client families/caregivers and all providers.
• Lead and participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings and trainings.
• Lead employees to accomplish all job objectives; inspires confidence and motivation; clearly defines expectations, and maintains personal effectiveness under pressure.
• Demonstrates appropriate delegation and coordination of tasks and duties in the operations of the program, using appropriate organizational/priority setting skills.
• Completes all paperwork and documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures and acceptable clinical practices within designated timeframes.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures and complete other tasks deemed necessary for the successful operation of the program.
• Remain current in evidence based practices by participating in continuing education activities.
