Dominion Care, a premier provider of mental health, education, intellectual disability, and autism services is seeking a strong, person-centered leader to oversee our group day support center and supplementary programs including community engagement, coaching, and workplace assistance.
What are we looking for?
- A passion for supporting and encouraging individuals diagnosed with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
- Experience as an effective leader and people-manager.
- A bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a human services field and at least 1 year of experience working in a supervisory role in the human services field.
What does a Program Manager do?
- Oversees daily operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintains positive relationships within the community to encourage the use of our services.
- Develops and assists to implement individual service plans including initiation and participation in treatment teams and management of measurable outcomes.
- Facilitates staff development, training, and evaluation to promote company culture and growth.
- Manages departmental budgets, payroll, staff certifications, employee files and annual reports.
- Retains and up-to-date knowledge of and continuously educates staff on effective treatment modalities.
- Encourages continuous quality improvements in care and corresponding documentation. Ensures timely and thorough completion of required documentation.
- Assists in hiring process for new staff, including interview, selection, and training procedures.
Group Day Program Practices:
- Providing Personal Protective Equipment for each DSP (masks, gloves, hand sanitizer)
- Wellness checks are given to individuals who attend our Group Day program prior to attendance
- Day support will practice social distancing and support will be provided in small groups
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in human services field with 1 year of supervisory experience in direct services OR 5 years of supervisory experience in the direct services field.
- 5 years of paid experience in developing service plans and providing direct supervision and evaluation of staff implementation.
- Must be QDDP qualified.
- Valid driver's license required.
