Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Dominion Cares Home Health/PCA. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients, assisting them with daily living activities and ensuring their overall well-being. Your contributions will be vital in enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Support clients with memory care and dementia-related needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Document client progress and report any changes in condition to healthcare professionals. Depending on service type.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of memory care, dementia care, and long-term care practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with clients on a personal level.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving duties.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus but not required.
