We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality within our establishment. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas are clean, well-maintained, and meet company standards.
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to quality standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and address any guest concerns or special requests promptly.
- Stay updated on industry trends related to hospitality and housekeeping management to continuously improve service delivery.
- Clean rooms and public areas as assigned
Experience
- Proven experience in hospitality management or a similar role within the hotel or cleaning industry.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping management practices, including floor care techniques, industrial cleaning methods, and custodial responsibilities.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and guests.
Requirements
- MUST have prior experience in a hotel housekeeping manager or supervisor role.
- Must work weekends and holidays as the business demands.
- Will be required to clean rooms, public areas, & do laundry as needed by the business to ensure labor is controlled and ensure facility is cleaned in a timely manner.
