What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time PRN Clinical Psychologist position at Dominion Medical Consulting?
Dominion Medical Consulting is seeking a clinical psychologist (PsyD or PhD) psychiatric examinations for the Social Security Administration. This is an independent contractor, 1099 position.
Examinations are low risk. No provider-patient relationship is established and you would not be responsible for ordering any tests, medications, or follow-up. Right now, there is enough work to support a couple of scheduled dates per month (generally 9:00-5:00). This is a great moonlighting/side-gig opportunity, but not full-time. It is in-person only at this time as well, and you could determine your own schedule. We would handle the actual scheduling of claimants for you after you give your availability each month and provide you with a clean professional office to conduct the evaluations. The office would be equipped with Wi-Fi and a receptionist would be available to you to help patient check-in and to bring patients to your office for their scheduled appointment.
Work will be contracted out on an as-needed basis. Set your own schedule and work as much or as little as you would like. Reimbursement is $110 per completed report and appointments are scheduled every 60 minutes, which should give you plenty of time to complete your interview and report all at once without having to take any paperwork home. Templates and information about what should be included in examinations would all be provided for you. Some referrals may come with requests for psychological testing, for additional compensation. If this is necessary, we can provide the necessary testing equipment.
