What are the responsibilities and job description for the PRN Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - In Person position at Dominion Medical Consulting?
Dominion Medical Consulting is seeking an experienced psychiatric nurse practitioner to perform psychiatric examinations for the Social Security Administration. This is an independent contractor, 1099 position.
Examinations are low risk. No provider-patient relationship is established and you would not be responsible for ordering any tests, medications, or follow-up. Right now, there is enough work to support about 2-4 days per month around the Richland/Kenwick area. This is a great moonlighting/side-gig opportunity, but not full-time. We have availability any time 8:00-5:00 M-F and you could determine your own schedule. We would handle the actual scheduling of claimants for you after you give your availability each month and provide you with a clean professional office to conduct the evaluations. The office would be equipped with Wi-Fi and a receptionist would be available to you to help patient check-in and to bring patient's to your office for their scheduled appointment.
Work will be contracted out on an as-needed basis based on your availability. Set your own schedule and work as much or as little as you would like. Reimbursement is $110 per completed report. Appointments are scheduled every 45 minutes, which should give you plenty of time to complete your interview and report since you to not have to provide a treatment plan. Templates and information about what should be included in examinations would all be provided for you to make the evaluation as simple as possible.
