Here's what you'll do day-to-day:
- Review client's chart of accounts and current journal entry and design the organizational/labor structure in iSolved that will capture the information necessary to produce an accurate payroll journal entry.
- Participate in client Kick-Off calls and meet with prospective clients to review and discuss the GL mapping set up and implementation process.
- Provide top customer service and follow up to ensure client's Journal Entry reporting/import files or integrations are correct and a usable product.
- Process client requests for mapping updates and regular maintenance items related to the GL.
- Manage workflows and meet deadlines, especially when managing multiple assignments.
- Communicate project progress, items needed internally/externally to complete projects, along with complications, with a service mindset and clarity.
- Learn about and work with different systems comfortably.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Here's what we're looking for:
- College degree from an accredited college, Business or Accounting degree is preferred; equivalent combination of education and/or experience to be considered.
- Bookkeeping background, understanding of accounting for journal entries
- Experience in payroll is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook,Teams)
- Professional phone manner and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work quickly - both individually and as part of a team
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to effectively establish rapport, present information, and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers who hold different positions.

Dominion Payroll offers competitive pay and equitable compensation practices. Our job titles may span more than one career level. The targeted hiring base salary range for this role is between $45,000 and $72,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, and geographical location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for variable pay, equity, and benefits.
