About the role
The Service Technician in the commercial siding and roofing industry plays a crucial role in maintaining and repairing exterior building components, ensuring the structural integrity, safety, and aesthetics of commercial properties. This position requires a blend of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and customer service acumen.
This role also requires a dedicated individual with a strong work ethic, technical proficiency, and a commitment to customer satisfaction and safety.
What you"ll do
- Perform repairs on siding and roofing systems including but not limited to : patching, resealing, replacing damaged materials, and addressing leaks.
- Ensure repairs comply with industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Use various tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Conduct thorough inspections of commercial siding and roofing systems to identify issues, defects, or damage.
- Document findings and provide detailed reports to supervisors and clients.
- Diagnose problems with siding and roofing systems and develop effective solutions.
- Address emergency repair requests promptly and efficiently.
- Communicate with clients to understand their concerns and explain repair options.
- Provide excellent customer service while on-site and represent the company professionally.
