What are the responsibilities and job description for the DMS Project Manager position at Dominion VUE / DMS?
- Responsible for all project communication, including project status reporting and organizing project meetings and documents discussion and action items
- Identifies resources needed and works with Functional Managers to assign tasks and responsibilities
- Manages the development of projects, implementation, and evaluation of projects to ensure the completion of projects as efficiently and effectively as possible within stated timeframes and budget
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
- Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects. PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent preferred (Not required)
- Facilitate team organization and ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily scrums/stand-ups, sprint/iteration reviews/demos, and retrospectives.
- Prior experience working with automotive industry preferred
- Prior experience working with data teams preferred
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly
- Basic knowledge of ticketing systems like JIRA and Azure DevOps.
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 3 years technical project management experience
- 1 years managing technical projects that involve cross functional teams including software developers
This role offers a compensation of approximately $90,000 - $100,000 annually. Compensation factors include geography, experience, education, job demands, job market, etc. Additional benefits for full-time employees include medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account; 401k, matching up to 4% fully vested on day one of employment; paid vacation, company holidays and sick leave; corporate discount opportunities.
