In this role the right individual will manage and direct the company's information technology (IT) operations, ensuring the department provides efficient and effective technical support service.
About the role
- Lead the IT team: Motivating, mentoring, and managing IT professionals, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Share Technical Expertise: Leverage 3-5 years of IT Leadership experience with ERP background (Implementation and Maintenance), AWS Cloud Technologies and other relevant technologies. Utilize experience with Salesforce CRM to enhance customer relationship management.
- Influence and Leadership: Influence and guide cross-functional teams and senior executives towards shared objectives without relying on formal reporting structures.
- Identify technology needs and opportunities: Proactively assessing the company's technology needs and recommending solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends: Keeping abreast of emerging technologies and their potential impact on the organization
- Technical Communication: Translate complex technical concepts into clear, understandable language for non-technical groups and senior leaders. Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure alignment and understanding.
What you'll do
- Lead development and implementation processes for the organizations IT systems and department.
- Develop and implements business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss.
- Establish efficiency and efficacy standards, providing recommendations for improvement of IT infrastructure.
- Analyze IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs.
- Oversee security of systems, networks, and enterprise information.
- Facilitate IT security audits or investigations.
- Develop and maintains relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
- Coordinate multisite IT systems via enterprise resource planning (ERP - Acumatica).
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in latest technology for IT systems and management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical and management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Through understanding of IT and practical applications to support the company's goals.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science required; masters degree or MBA preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience managing an IT department.
