Dining Services Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to oversee operations in a dynamic food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality service in both fine dining and banquet settings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction.
• Train and develop staff in food service management practices, culinary techniques, and customer service excellence.
• Implement and uphold food safety regulations to ensure compliance with health standards.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and presentation of menu items.
• Assist in planning and executing special events, including banquets and private functions.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to maintain a positive dining experience.
• Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of culinary practices, food safety regulations, and fine dining standards.
• Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
• Experience in staff training and development to enhance team performance.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with guests and team members effectively.
• Previous experience in hotel or banquet management is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
