Pizza Delivery Driver

Job Overview

Duties

• Drive delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Communicate with warehouse staff regarding delivery schedules, product availability, and any issues that may arise during transit.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries made, including obtaining signatures from recipients when necessary.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients during the delivery process.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar courier role is preferred.
• Strong driving skills with the ability to operate both manual transmission vehicles and automatic vehicles.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems to ensure efficient delivery routes.
• Experience working in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
• Ability to safely load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling of items during transport.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
