Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the establishment to ensure smooth functioning.
• Train, mentor, and develop staff to enhance their skills and performance.
• Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak hours.
• Oversee inventory control processes, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the food service environment.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively to maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Assist with hiring processes, including interviewing potential candidates.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure quality food preparation and presentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in line with casual dining standards.

Skills

• Proven experience in staff training and development within the hospitality or food service industry.
• Strong shift management skills to effectively oversee operations during busy periods.
• Knowledge of bartending practices is a plus for establishments serving alcoholic beverages.
• Familiarity with culinary practices to assist in kitchen management when necessary.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and customer relations.
• Ability to manage inventory control efficiently, ensuring minimal waste and optimal stock levels.
• Experience in casual dining environments is preferred, with an understanding of customer service excellence.
