Senior Director of Digital Transformation

Location: Coeur d’Alene, Idaho (Hybrid/Remote options available)

Position Overview:

As the Senior Director of Digital Transformation, you will:

  • Define and implement a strategic roadmap for digital transformation, enhancing products, processes, and business models.
  • Lead the development of projects from inception to production, managing all IT capabilities.
  • Foster a culture of continuous technology innovation across the organization.
  • Act as a technology futurist, researching and prioritizing emerging technologies that deliver long-term value.
  • Identify partnerships and collaborations to enhance our capabilities.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous process improvement, collaborating with cross-functional teams to vet and implement new technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and related business applications.
  • Lead resource and project management during ERP implementation.
  • Architect, design, and conduct enhancements to ERP systems or related solutions.
  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from key stakeholders.
  • Conduct system and User Acceptance Testing of ERP and related solutions.
  • Communicate effectively across the organization, making recommendations on ERP usage and configuration.
  • Understand business processes and strategically design and map them in the ERP solution.
  • Make recommendations for process improvements or optimizations to leverage SAP S/4HANA best practices.
  • Coordinate and lead ERP-related projects, including managing resource allocation and tracking budgets.
  • Drive activities around environment management, including communication related to outages, downtime, access, and availability spanning multiple projects.
  • Ensure user license compliance and user provisioning best practices, recommending cost optimizations.
  • Provide operations and support, system maintenance, and research to ensure continual innovation and predictable operations of the solution.
  • Monitor release notes for impacts to SAP S/4HANA and related systems, providing impact analysis.
  • Manage Service Requests/Tickets for the platform, including opening, monitoring, escalation, and closing.
  • Train and coach end-users or coordinate training activities across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Experience implementing, configuring, administering, and supporting SAP S/4HANA in an enterprise capacity.
  • Understanding of enterprise-optimized software solutions across all business functional areas.
  • Experience with the manufacturing industry, process manufacturing expertise preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with a diverse group of team members, including executives, managers, technology professionals, and subject matter experts.
  • Team player and self-starter who can work effectively within time constraints and changing priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in enhancement design and system issue troubleshooting.
  • Experience in system and user acceptance testing of ERP systems, customizations, and related solutions.
  • Experience in project management in SAP S/4HANA implementations.
  • Experience with querying, importing, and exporting data.
  • Experience with creating and managing Reports and Dashboards.
  • Proficient in SmartSheet and Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • PMP certification preferred.

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in one or more functional components of SAP S/4HANA.
  • 3-7 years of experience in implementation, configuration, and support with SAP S/4HANA platform.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, MIS, or equivalent technically related degree.
  • Project management expertise, including initiating, planning, executing, controlling, monitoring, and closing a project.
  • Strong skills in group facilitation, data gathering, and phases of software life cycle (e.g., requirements gathering, design, development, deployment, training, and measuring effectiveness).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate stakeholder requirements into technical specifications for development and break down technical complexities for business units and end users.

Pay: $103,704.71 - $160,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • Weekends as needed
