General Foreman – Heavy Civil Construction
Location: Lehi, Utah
Hourly Rate: $40 – $48 an hour

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced General Foreman to oversee and manage on-site operations for our heavy civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction, particularly in water and wastewater treatment facilities, and will be adept at leading teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers, subcontractors, and equipment operators, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Scheduling & Planning: Develop and maintain work schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely completion of project milestones.
- Quality Control: Inspect work progress and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular site inspections to maintain a safe work environment.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction, implementing effective solutions promptly.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in heavy civil construction, with a focus on water and wastewater treatment facilities and water tank construction projects.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate construction teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of construction methodologies, blueprints, and project management principles.
