We are seeking experienced and professional line cook to join our team at DOMODOMO Dallas, fine dining Japanese restaurant.
Job Summary
The Fine Dining Line Cook is responsible for preparing and executing high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant’s standards. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, precision, and a deep understanding of culinary techniques to maintain the elevated dining experience expected in a fine dining establishment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and dietary department guidelines.
- Assist with menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a restaurant setting.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively within the kitchen environment.
- Experience in menu planning and understanding dietary needs is a plus.
- Previous experience as a cook or dietary aide is preferred but not required.
