Summary
Do you have experience with Plasma-Burn Tables? If so, we are looking for you. We need someone familiar with cutting, trimming, scarfing metal objects with arc-cutting equipment to dimensions, contour or bevel specified by blueprints, work order, or layout by performing the following duties. Also responsible for maintaining steel inventory.
Responsibilities
- Familiar with AutoCAD and/or Sigma Nest (possibly Solidworks)
- Sets up machine by retrieving and loading large heavy plates of steel using overhead crane, downloading program, entering parameters of job, selecting type of cut, and cutting first piece. Programs standard shapes.
- Operates burn table by monitoring cutting and adjusting heat in torches, pre-heat times, and pierce rate.
- Unloads skeleton and parts using overhead crane, jib crane and/or magnets.
- Cleans and scrapes parts and cuts up scrap
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and timelines.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company policies.
- Has experience with Laser cutting
- Has experience with waterjet cutting

Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED required with some college or technical training.
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- 4 to 5 years of Plasma Cutting Table experience required
- 4 to 5 years of Burn Table experience required
- 4 to 5 years running CN machine or robotic cutting experience
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs or move heavier objects with proper equipment
- Ability to work as a team and as an individual
- Attention to detail and pride in your work is a must
