The location in West Carrollton, (Ohio, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Procurement Specialist. This job is full-time permanent.
- Manage the site Storeroom by processing delivered items and ensuring materials are placed in set location/ delivered to correct employees. Review storeroom issued item list and perform inventory adjustments into SAP. Based on inventory, order optimum stock quantities within supplier restrictions, expedite orders, respond to inquiries and adjust orders as required. Manage “free issue” items by doing inventory checks and creating PO for replenishment
- Manage incoming purchasing requests in a timely manner. Proactively reaching out to requestors to clarify requirements, understand timelines and communicate order status. Support any changes to existing PO.
- Create/ Update/ Remove material information in SAP to ensure it is accurate. In addition, will request new or changes for Vendor Master data that is needed.
- Coordinate transportation for LTL shipments on repairable items. This includes arranging pick-up, creating BOL, coordinating with maintenance/ operations item is ready to ship. Also, will track in house repairable items to ensure rebuilt items are returned back to the Storeroom.
- Maintain a clean an organized Storeroom to promote quick and easy retrieval of needed supplies.
- Monitor and approve orders for Vendor Managed Inventory & Keep Stock items in the vending machine.
- Analyze key measurements to increase inventory turns while maintaining service levels. Periodically review branch stocking programs and maintain SKU's accordingly.
- Analyze need for new products, and/or optimal source of new product and opening quantities. Review new product performance after a prescribed period of time. Rationalize those products that should no longer be carried once analysis is completed.
- Complete yearly Storeroom cycle count
You will be required to successfully complete a selection process that could include interviews, an employment background check, a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen, reference verifications, aptitude tests (for some positions), and a fitness-for-duty test (for some positions).
