In this role, you'll support our HR department with a variety of tasks, including document management, recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, special projects, audits, and event coordination.

The ideal candidate will also possess executive assistant qualities, such as exceptional attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a knack for anticipating needs and providing proactive support.

Scheduled Hours:
- Hourly, Part-time 20-25 hours per week
- Flexible hours between 8am and 6pm, Monday-Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative support and assistance to the HR Team
- Maintain confidentiality by using discretion in conversations and restricting access to private information; this position will have access to highly confidential information based on the individuals served.
- Maintain, update, and create role-specific handbooks and HR department documents
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and orientation processes as needed
- Support the planning and execution of company events
- Design HR related materials using digital design platforms i.e.: Canva
- Develop and distribute a monthly company newsletter
- File and manage employee documents in compliance with company policies
- Order employee merchandise and track invoices
- Participate in local career fairs and classroom outreach programs
- Build and maintain positive relationships with employees across all departments
- Run reports and compile data in excel and payroll software
- Coordinate travel arrangements for staff training
- Additional duties and responsibilities as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Professional attitude with strong interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality
- Proficiency in technology, including Microsoft Office
- Must have demonstrated strong proficiency in Excel
- Punctual, reliable, and adaptable
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Basic knowledge of HR processes and best practices preferred but not required
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to recommend solutions
- Creativity and the ability to think outside the box
- Self-motivated with a passion for helping others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
