What you'll be doing:
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of Sales Representatives focused on new and used bus and shuttle sales.
- Establishing clear sales targets and performance metrics for the sales team.
- Developing and implementing effective sales training programs to enhance the team's product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer relationship management skills.
- Monitoring sales team performance, analyzing results, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Providing ongoing coaching and support to Sales Representatives, including regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews.
- Collaborating with the general manager and other departments to align sales strategies with overall company objectives.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers.
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Ensuring the sales team utilizes CRM effectively to manage leads, track activities, and forecast sales.
- Participating in sales meetings and providing regular reports on team performance.
What you bring to the table:
- Proven experience in sales management, leading and developing a successful sales team.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- A results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting.
- While not mandatory, experience in the vehicle industry (any type, not just buses or shuttles) would be a plus.
- F&I experience a plus.
- Additionally, any experience with vehicle financing processes would be beneficial.
- A valid driver's license.
