In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in shaping the success of our sales department, fostering a high-performance culture, and empowering our team to connect customers with the perfect bus and shuttle solutions.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of Sales Representatives focused on new and used bus and shuttle sales.
  • Establishing clear sales targets and performance metrics for the sales team.
  • Developing and implementing effective sales training programs to enhance the team's product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Monitoring sales team performance, analyzing results, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Providing ongoing coaching and support to Sales Representatives, including regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews.
  • Collaborating with the general manager and other departments to align sales strategies with overall company objectives.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers.
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Ensuring the sales team utilizes CRM effectively to manage leads, track activities, and forecast sales.
  • Participating in sales meetings and providing regular reports on team performance.

What you bring to the table:

  • Proven experience in sales management, leading and developing a successful sales team.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting.
  • While not mandatory, experience in the vehicle industry (any type, not just buses or shuttles) would be a plus.
  • F&I experience a plus.
  • Additionally, any experience with vehicle financing processes would be beneficial.
  • A valid driver's license.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
