As a Service Drive Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our automotive service department. You will be responsible for managing a team of technicians and service advisors to provide high-quality repairs and maintenance services to our customers. Pay: $7,500- $10,000 a Month

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in automotive service management and leadership roles
• Strong automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ford experience preferred
• Familiarity with auto estimating and sales processes
• Proficient in vehicle maintenance and repair, including transmissions and brake systems
• Dealership experience preferred

The Service Manager leads the service and parts team to deliver an exceptional customer experience:

• Plans, trains, leads, and monitors the performance of service advisors, service technicians, and warranty specialist to promote customer satisfaction and revenue growth in line with targeted business and financial objectives
• Must have strong managerial experience and leadership qualities to organize and motivate a team and to hold each team member accountable for outstanding performance on a daily basis
• Accountable for operational and financial performance for the service departments
• Hire, manage, supervise and monitor the performance of the service department personnel including technicians, advisors and assistant manager(s)
• Establish service objectives by facilitating and developing monthly sales and revenue goals
• Ensure that technicians keep their skills current through manufacturer training, ASE training and on new systems and components offered by the dealership and vendors
• Ensure accurate warranty procedures are followed
• Measure progress, analyze results and make improvements as needed; Establish department goals and objectives to minimize unapplied time
• Conduct service meetings, manage efficiency and oversee accurate dispatching to proper technician skill level
• Serve as a liaison between advisors, technicians and customers; and ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service
• Ensure all required paperwork and records and preparation of documents (forms, reports, etc.) are done properly and timely
• Maintain a customer follow up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction
• Maintain a high Customer Service Index (CSI) rating by handling customer complaints immediately and appropriately
• Duties are performed throughout the dealer premises, both indoors and outdoors
• Work includes frequent movement around the company facilities and the outdoor car lot to move vehicles
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear and is frequently required to stand, walk and sit
• The position requires regular and predictable attendance
