Don Hattan Dealerships is looking to hire a Parts Manager experienced with GM to lead our parts department and ensure efficiency, accuracy, and top-tier customer service. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership skills and extensive experience in automotive parts operations, especially within a GM dealership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, minimize obsolete parts, and ensure timely reordering.

• Ordering & Procurement: Source and order parts, ensuring availability for technicians and customers.

• Manufacturer Compliance: Meet GM quotas, follow GM ordering guidelines, and ensure compliance with manufacturer requirements.

• Aftermarket Sourcing: Locate and procure aftermarket parts when necessary.

• Warranty & Recall Management: Process and oversee parts-related warranty claims and recall orders.

• Staff Leadership: Supervise a team of three parts professionals, providing training, support, and performance management.

• Vendor & Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and wholesale customers.

• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with technicians, service advisors, and outside customers to ensure smooth operations and excellent service.

• Sales & Profitability: Manage parts pricing, sales strategies, and department profitability goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 5 years of automotive parts experience (strong preference for GM dealership experience)
In-depth knowledge of GM parts systems, warranty processes, and manufacturer requirements
Ability to match the correct part to the vehicle and repair needed
Experience managing inventory, ordering, and vendor relations
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with dealership management software and GM parts systems
Excellent communication skills and ability to work professionally with technicians, service advisors, and customers
