Bookkeeper/HR Support
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, motivated, and people-focused professional to join our growing team as a Bookkeeper/HR Support. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both accounting and human resources while working across a dynamic group of small businesses, including four car dealerships (Don Hattan Dealerships), a clothing boutique (Pink Saloon), and a brand new restaurant (Point 9). Bookkeeping duties will primarily focus on Pink Saloon and Point 9, while HR support will extend across all companies. Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks or similar software
- Record and reconcile expenses and sales.
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and assist with payroll for two small businesses.
- Prepare basic financial reports and assist with end-of-month close processes.
HR Support
- Assist with recruiting efforts, including screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Support new hire onboarding by preparing documents, setting up employee files, and ensuring smooth communication.
- Maintain employee records and help ensure compliance with HR procedures.
- Provide general administrative support for HR initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience with QuickBooks (preferred).
- Prior bookkeeping experience, ideally in a small business setting.
- Exposure to or interest in HR, especially recruiting and onboarding.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- A team player with a willingness to pitch in where needed.

Qualifications:
- Experience in bookkeeping or accounting is strongly preferred.
