SUMMARY
We are looking for a few individuals who have a current guard card.
Shifts will vary - Days, Nights, & Weekends. We are open seven days a week and store hours varies. We prefer individuals to be flexible and available as much as possible to work any shift. However, we are a 24 hours / 7 days a week store so there should be a shift available for you. Since you will be placed at just one place, travel to other stores are not necessary.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Protect property and lives by patrolling the area.
- Monitor entrance of property through surveillance.
- Identify visitors and ask for appropriate documents.
- Guard against theft and maintain security.
- Respond to alarms and calls of distress.
- Stop suspicious people and ask for identification.
- Call for aid if necessary.
- Use walkie-talkies, pagers, and cell phones to stay in contact with Store Management.
- Report rule infractions and violations.
- Prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
- Write incident reports in a clear and simple manner
Qualifications for position
High School diploma or GED.
Must pass criminal background check.
Current unexpired Guard Card issued by the State of Hawaii
