What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwashers position at Don's Seafood & Chophouse?
Responsibilities:
- Assist the wait staff with table setting by fetching and placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils and napkins
- Remove dirty dishes and utensils
- Clean and put away dishes, pots, utensils,and pans.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area.
- Perform other cleaning duties as assigned.
Skills
- Experience as a dishwasher/busser or similar entry-level role in a restaurant
- Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
- Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy loads and stand for long hours
- Availability to work various shifts, including weekends
- Multi-tasking abilities
- Good oral communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
