TITLE: Customer Service Telephone Sales
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt, Full Time
REPORTS TO: Vice President of Sales and Operations
- Purpose of position: To answer phone calls from interested prospects and identify the customer's needs. Advise prospective and current customers by answering questions and addressing concerns about purchased products. Follow organization standards to maintain quality service and guarantee customers receive exceptional service.
Essential Functions: (must be able to perform these functions, with or without reasonable accommodation).
- Receiving a high volume of phone calls, emails, customer orders.
- Resolving any customers issues that arise via phone, email, and chat platforms.
- Collaborate with other teams such as IT or web development to address technical issues and improve the online user experience and troubleshoot any issues customers may encounter while using online platforms.
- Providing accurate and detailed information about the products of services offered by staying informed of company policies, procedures, and promotions.
- Assist customers with online transactions, order placing, payments, or navigating the site.
- Building and maintaining relationships with customers to ensure recurrent business.
- Handling objections and addressing customer concerns effectively and in a timely manner.
- Closing sales and processing orders over the phone.
- Following up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any post sales issues.
- Keeping accurate records of customer transactions, sales activities, and transactions.
- Researching and gathering information about products or services for customers.
- Asking relevant questions to clarify any doubts concerns regarding the products or services.
- Providing accurate and complete information to the customer to facilitate the sales process.
- Makes recommendations or suggestions of products to customers.
- Providing necessary contact details, payment information, for order processing.
- Checking the accuracy for order details and confirming the final purchase.
- Notify the company of any issues or concerns regarding the product, delivery, or post sales service.
- Dispatch draft tech support as necessary.
- Provide online support.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate department or supervisor for further assistance.
- Engaging in active listening to understand customer needs and requirements.

Experience and Education Requirements:
Employers require a minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent. Applicants must have prior work experience in a similar role. You must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
