What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouseman position at Donaghy Sales LLC?
Purpose of position: Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.
Essential Functions: (must be able to perform these functions, with or without a reasonable accommodation).
- Determines labeling requirements including but not limited to assemble and pack products
- Proper operation of equipment to safety and productivity requirements, including but not limited to: lift truck, hand trucks, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas
- Operates stretch wrap and bander machine
- Unpacks, examines, and routes incoming shipments
- Demonstrates proper use of safety devices
- Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs regularly and ability to lift up to 150 lbs., with assistance, periodically.
- Ability to engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching, and stepping up and down
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must maintain a neat clean professional appearance at all times.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, on short notice, including weekends, holidays and frequently in excess of 40 hours per week.
- Regular attendance is required to be able to deliver exceptional customer service

Experience and Education Requirements:
High School diploma or GED preferred. Prior warehouse experience or training a plus.
Working Conditions:
Extreme physical exertion, exposure to inclement weather, exposure to fumes and noise from the vehicles and lift equipment, and expose to cold box areas.
