Do you love cooking and inspiring young minds? We're looking for a Chef Instructor to lead fun, hands-on cooking classes at the Donald W. Reynolds Boys & Girls Club! If you're passionate about food, kitchen skills, and working with kids, this is your chance to make a lasting impact.
What You'll Do:
- Teach engaging cooking classes that build confidence and life skills.
- Show kids how to safely chop, mix, sauté, and bake.
- Share the basics of nutrition and meal planning in a fun way.
- Create a welcoming and encouraging kitchen space.
- Work with staff and program supervisors to support and enhance program activities.
- Keep the kitchen organized, clean, and stocked with ingredients.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support program needs and goals.
What We're Looking For:
- A skilled and enthusiastic cook with a passion for teaching kids.
- Experience in a professional kitchen or culinary instruction.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with youth ages 6 to 12.
Schedule:
- Hours: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (Summer)
