Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in financial management, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and billing.
- Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to align with the organization's strategic goals.
- Evaluate and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors and stakeholders.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, developing and maintaining systems of internal controls.
- Prepare annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring effective internal controls and compliance with GAAP and applicable laws.
- Collaborate with the CEO to prepare and submit timely and accurate UFR and UDS reports.
- Develop and implement plans for operational infrastructure, systems, processes, and personnel to support growth objectives.
- Work with physicians and staff to achieve highest reimbursements for each practice.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- CPA certification highly desirable.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in senior financial managerial positions, preferably in FQHC settings.
- Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, UFR, UDS, and other relevant financial regulations.
- Exceptional leadership skills, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication and presentation skills.
