Applicant will be responsible for designing, coding, testing and integrating LabVIEW and TestStand applications for Automated Test Systems (ATE). Contribute to software requirements, design, code, reviews, and test of ATE. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Good oral and written communication skills required as is the ability to flex and adapt in a fast-paced team environment. Good presentation skills.
Software developer with National Instruments LabVIEW and Test Stand experience.
We are developing test software to test CCAs with FPGAs and multiple serial communication protocols such as Ethernet, RS485, RS422, SPI, I2C, RS232, 1553, CAN. We are seeking assistance in developing test software for several of these protocols.
Our test equipment is Windows OS and PXI instrumentation based. Our Interface Test Adapters (ITAs) are in the detailed design/fabrication phase.
The SW developer would work under the guidance of our lead software developer. The SW development work can be performed remotely.
Final integration will take place at the client Archbald, PA site and will be performed by Archbald engineering.
Must Have Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 2-4 years of LabVIEW experience.
• 2-4 years of Test Stand experience.
• 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer
Desired Qualifications:
• 2-4 years of Hardware Integration experience.
• 2-4 years of Programming experience.
First shift schedule 6:30am-5:00pm Eastern Standard Time, overtime available
