About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our Agile teams. As an Engineer on our group, you will be working on building applications leveraging an architecture in the style of 'Event sourcing'. The project involves microservices to provide dedicated business functions using Oracle, AWS AuroraDB , MongoDB and Redis Cache for creating persistent view services, as well as Kafka for messaging and to enable rapid short term recovery, horizontal scalability and workload distribution.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have experience with Java programming language, shell scripting languages such as Python and relevant runtimes / application servers like Spring Boot or Docker.
- Familiarity with frameworks / libraries including REACT or Angular and experience with Kafka, Spring boot is necessary.
- Rewards include work with relational DBs such as Oracle, Aurora or CockroachDB and NoSQL databases like MongoDB or DynamoDB, with Redis Cache being a plus.
