Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for FX trading and risk management systems.
- Analyze current FX processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Develop detailed business and functional specifications for new system enhancements or implementations.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure technical solutions align with business requirements.
- Conduct gap analysis and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Assist in the design and execution of test plans to ensure that solutions meet business needs.
- Stay informed on the latest trends in FX markets and technologies to provide strategic insights to the business.
- Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and external vendors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services industry, with a focus on Foreign Exchange (FX) markets.
- Strong understanding of FX trading, risk management, and settlement processes.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to work onsite in Chicago, IL, and reside within an hour's driving distance.
- Advanced degree (MBA or related) in Finance or a related field.
- Experience with FX trading platforms and technologies.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the FX market.
