Job Title: Mainframe Developer with IMS DB and CICS
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with expertise in IMS DB and CICS to join our team at Donato Technologies Inc.
About the Role:
This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled Mainframe Developer to work on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain code for complex Mainframe applications using IBM-Z/OS COBOL, CICS, IMS DB/DC, DB2, VSAM, JCL, CA7, Changeman/Endeavor Mainframe application development suits, and IBM WebSphere MQ messaging solution.
- Perform Level 3 (L3) support, including maintenance and support activities, and providing technical assistance to resolve complex issues.
- Work collaboratively with offshore teams and demonstrate strong communication skills to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Be flexible to work in shifts, including weekends and rotation basis, and be available for on-call duties as required.
Requirements:
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficient in coding in one or more languages.
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies, banking domain, and credit card industry knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and zO/S connect & Kafka integration is a plus.
