Role : Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary –
A strong software and system administration engineer with 10 years of experience in Cobol development and HP-UX administration
Years Of Experience Needed –
10 years of experience in development & sysadmin
Technical Skills:
- 10-15 years of development experience
- Proven experience with software migration/transformation
- Demonstrated skills in Cobol, HP-UX, AS 400 applications development
- HP-UX system/server administration skills
- In-depth knowledge of various Life Insurance administration programs, such as Universal Life, Whole Life, Term Life, etc.
- Solid understanding of insurance policy administration lifecycle, i.e., quoting, enrollment, claims, underwriting, billing, etc.
- Demonstrated analytic and design capabilities
- Working knowledge of DB2 database
- Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Fast learner, quality consciousness and committed to deadlines
- Strong technical skills and a strong interest in software development.
- Must possess strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Must possess critical and analytical thinking skills to troubleshoot system issues effectively and efficiently, as well as resolve accordingly.
- Demonstrate the right ethic to work properly and efficiently with internal and customer teams
